Package: libboost-iostreams1.39-dev
Version: 1.39.0-2
Severity: normal
According to the documentation, programs should link against
boost-iostreams using -lboost_iostreams-mt. However, the shipped
package only provides -lboost_iostreams, and according to the messages
on bug #541133, this is the correct name to link against.
Please update README.Debian to match the lib directory. Also, it
would be nice if there was a message stating that this really is a
multithreaded compile, since historically only Boost libraries with -mt
in the name were multithread-safe and it would make paranoid people
like me feel safer. :-)
