[Pkg-catalyst-maintainers] FastMmap works from Debian but not Cpan

Hi Eloy,

On Etch, I've been trying to migrate away from Debianized Perl to
reliance on CPAN. I'd like to track Catalyst-related developments more
closely than is allowed using the standard Debian release strategy.

I'm using libcache-fastmmap-perl (Etch) in conjunction w/ Catalyst.

I noticed that the CPAN version of Cache::FastMmap did not work
underneath Apache. The CPAN version (Cache::FastMmap) and the Debianized
version (libcache-fastmmap-perl) worked when run using the Catalyst HTTP
server. Only libcache-fastmmap-perl worked w/ Apache.

Is there a something about the Debianization of Cache::FastMmap that
would explain this behavior, or is there another issue? I looked at what
I could find in the package file & didn't see anything that would
explain why Cache::FastMmap doesn't work underneath Apache.
