Web content, specifically. Chromium's chrome seems to match the rest of
my system; I use the GTK theme.
I just reinstalled and opened Chromium. I've taken a screenshot of its
default font settings with no changes, next to a couple of GNOME font
selection dialogs. Chromium defaulted to what it calls a 16pt font, and
it shows a preview of that font. (Also, it thinks it has Bitstream
Charter selected for all fonts, which seems wrong, but that seems like
an entirely different bug.) The GNOME font selection dialogs show the
very readable 8pt font I use as my system default, as well as the
correct (large) size of a 16pt font. I have a 124 DPI laptop screen.
Hopefully that helps clarify the problem.
