You found a bug in the chromium source code and reported it against
gcc-4.6.   It was passed on to the maintainers of Debian's chromium
package, who matched it up with an upstream report within the
chromium project.  Giuseppe was nice enough to find a fix and use it
for the Debian package (thanks!), and that fix is available for
download from (among other places) the Debian FTP archive.
