Package: chromium-browser
Version: 6.0.472.63~r59945-5+squeeze6
Severity: serious
Justification: Possible incompatible licenses
Hi!
Some parts of chromium-browser seem to be shipped under the "Microsoft
Permissive License (Ms-PL)". In #647526 it is claimed, that that license
is considered incompatible with the GPL, which is used by some other parts
of chromium.
I must confess, that I haven't read the acutal license text,
yet, and need to catch a train, so I can't say, if that's true or not.
However, I thought the problem could be important, so better open a bug
report, so we don't forget about it later.
Best regards,
Alexander
