Package: chromium
Version: 31.0.1650.57-1~deb7u1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
*** Please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
When I play a video in Youtube, and open another thing in a new tab, then I
switch back to the youtube tab, the video (in flash-player) isn't displayed
anymore, just a black window, with audio, and cannot control the video (pause,
play, stop).
The refresh (F5) puts the video (flash) window back in you tube, but the
problem keeps going, when I switch to the other tab.
* What led up to the situation?
Package upgrade (from /var/log/apt/history):
22/11/13 19:49:26 Start-Date: 2013-11-17 10:51:52
22/11/13 19:49:26 Upgrade: chromium:amd64
(30.0.1599.101-1~deb7u1, 31.0.1650.57-1~deb7u1), chromium-inspector:amd64
(30.0.1599.101-1~deb7u1, 31.0.1650.57-1~deb7u1)
22/11/13 19:49:26 End-Date: 2013-11-17 10:52:22
before the upgrade I didn't had this problem.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I deactivated kwin compositing effects.
* What was the outcome of this action?
Nothing changed, the problem stills there.
* What outcome did you expect instead?
I just thought that some problem with the compositing effects of kwin and the
flash plugin, but it seems that isn't the problem, I can see the youtube videos
and switch out and back to the tab playing the youtube video perfectly in
Iceweasel.
