Hi,
I observed this same behavior. However I can get it to print. Steps to
reproduce:
1. Open a page in chromium
2. Press ^P to print
3. Choose Print to file
4. Observe that "Name:" is set to "output.pdf" and "Save in folder:"
is set to home
5. Press Print
Result: No output.pdf in home directory.
BUT with these additional steps after step 4:
4.1. Set the cursor somewhere in the Name: field
4.2. Make a trivial edit, for example press the "a" key
4.3. Undo the edit (for example, by pressing backspace)
The file is created correctly. Hence I would suspect that while the
"Name:" field initially shows "output.pdf", the variable set by the
code that handles its edited events is incorrectly initialized to
something else, as editing the field causes printing to work.
