Michael,

Thank you. I do have the ppapi version installed, but a couple of
additional symlinks had to be created to get chromium to find the plugin.
Adding the links here for posterity in case other users run into this issue:

The symlink commands in this thread fixed the issue for me:
https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=363358

Exiting and relaunching of the browser was required after the symlinks were
created.
