The remove of disable_sse2 from rules file makes sense because upstream dropped it in version 35, but...

...it seems there is a misunderstand here. disable_sse2 worked in this way: 0 (which was the default value) for enable support for SSE2 CPUs only and 1 (which has been used in Debian) for enable support for non-SSE2 CPUs.

So, the remove of this flag doesn't solve anything at all. Chromium won't run in CPUs without SSE2.

Also, about the report at upstream, it was marked as duplicated of the bug which I linked in my previous message. I think they won't try to bring non-SSE2 support back, as the remove of this option fix other bugs (according to them). The disable_sse2 existed since 2010, probably just for legacy reasons, and they already dropped non-SSE2 support in other plataforms.
