Are you complaining that it should say

  "Version 41.0.2272.118 Built on Debian 8.0, running on Debian 8.0"

instead?  That seems extremely small.

Rightly so on their part.  It sounds like you want to change the
"Debian 8.0" part and that can't be changed upstream.
