Package: chromium
Version: 52.0.2743.82-4
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
After an update on 30th July, chromium no longer honours the DPI
scale of the current session. On a 3200 * 1800 display (13"), this
results in unusably small window elements, and all web-pages must
be zoomed (^=) to be readable.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
     - Updated against 52.0.2743.82-4. This made no difference.
     - deleted ~/.config/chromium directory and relaunched.
     - launching chromium with --force-device-scale-factor=$SOMEFACTOR
appears to work for the menu bars, and other graphical elements,
but text is still rendered at an unusually small scale.
     - downgrading to the last known good version (`sudo apt-get install
chromium=52.0.2743.82-2`). This unfortunately failed for me with
the message "E: Version '52.0.2743.82-2' for 'chromium' was not
found" (I'm not familiar with pegging a version with `apt` though,
so I'm prepared to accept my mistakes here).

Let me know if there's anything else needed here. I'm happy to try stuff
out or send screenshots if needed.

Luke
