Yes, I never tweak anything int he Xsession.d files as I have
not enough experience there.

lightdm? I think it is using the normal scripts .. I will check.

I just read through the Xsession.d files and indeed it seems
that gpg-agent should be started, and ssh-agent not ...
very strange.

I will sprinkle a few set -x around the xsession files and
report back.
