This was caused by a recent change in policykit that failed to notify any
dependending programs of the change.  We are going to upload a fix soon, but in
the meantime you can work around it by editing
/usr/share/applications/cinnamon-polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1.desktop
Replacing:
  Exec=/usr/lib/policykit-1-gnome/polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1
With:
  Exec=/usr/lib/polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1
