Hi Debian Lispers,
As you are probably aware, Common Lisp library management got a whole lot
easier with the introduction of Quicklisp last year.
How about a Debian 'quicklisp' package which:
1. installs a Lisp if neccessary (or if requested)
2. goes out and grabs the Quicklisp quickstart file (using wget or similar)
3. runs the Lisp and evaluate the command to install Quicklisp proper
in its usual location (i.e., under ~/quicklisp)
Essentially a simple script, the choices I'm thinking of giving the user
include:
1. Lisp implementaion
2. Site-wide installation (or user home directory).
Thoughts/comments/suggestions/objections welcome.
Sebastian
