Strange, xindy now builds and run with this clisp version, but clisp is
showing this error in different scenario, even in a very simple one

$ clisp --version
/usr/lib/clisp-2.49/base/lisp.run: operating system error during load of initialization file `/usr/lib/clisp-2.49/base/lispinit.mem'
[/build/buildd-clisp_2.49-4-i386-OupTD9/clisp-2.49/src/spvw_memfile.d:982] errno = ENOENT: No existe ese fichero o directorio.

$ dpkg -s clisp | grep -i version
Version: 1:2.49-4

or even simpler as in original bug report, with no arguments.

Reopening for further debug. I am leaving xindy bug report closed, it builds
anr run here with current clisp.
