It seems there's something wrong in file:
  doc/tex/omniNames.tex

It looks like the file in SVN is the one from version 4.1.1.

I completely agree with your analysis. Also I'm wondering about the
change in sample.cfg.

Another question is: do we want to handle this omniorb4 -> omniorb
transition before lenny release?
