I was just looking at merging the patches but have some initial
questions/remarks about the changes.


You've added omkdepend to the binaries but don't give any reason.  I
think we decided to not do this, but if there is a valid reason then
we should.  But if so you should probably re-open #277627 first.

You've also included omniidlrun.py which AFIAK is just the same as the
omniidl binary (the diff with it is minimal).  Appart from that IIRC
the policy is not too happy with having .py extensions in /usr/bin.
Was there any specific reason for adding this script?

What's the motivation for removing omniORB.ps from omniorb-doc?  I
guess it is duplicated in the pdf.  Also for python-omniorb the
dropping is not mentioned in the changelog.

Why did you need to build omniorb for several python versions?  The
binaries do not provide python modules but only use python for
omniidl.  Therefore just the current python version is fine I would
think.  Or do I miss something?
