I'm doing it by hand with diff -Nru. But I definitely think we should
use something like dpkg-gensymbols, which now correctly handles C++ it
seems. Or abi-compliance-checker. I don't have enough time to have a
look at this myself now. Can you?

I'm pretty sure upstream would be interested as well.
