Such Windows-like feature would be nice, but there isn't any
structures in Debian GNU/Linux at this time.

This wish needs to add a cancel hook to shutdown.
This wish needs to add an notification hooks to KDE, GNOME, or any
X session managers.

As CUPS maintainer, I have no idea to implement such function
to shutdown, X session managers, or CUPS.
I reassign this bug to general.
If this bug is backed CUPS again, I'll just set tag: wontfix.
