I can confirm the bug, as well as the workaround to use file: instead
of usb: in the device path.

The printer is a Brother MFC-215C.
I use the printer driver packages supplied by Brother.

PS: Any ITP for the Brother drivers would be greatly appreciated.
The .deb files on their site are alienated RPMs and pretty ugly.
