[Pkg-cups-devel] Please test privilege dropping patches before upload

Hello,

As you could see from today's commit messages, I did a patch cleanup,
upstream patch forwarding, and a mega-merge between Debian and Ubuntu.
There are very few changes left now, so that maintenance will become
much easier again.

However, I would like you guys to test trunk SVN head a bit. In
particular I would like to hear some feedback that the huge changes to
run cupsd as non-root do not break too much. The patches work fine in
Ubuntu for a while, but during the merge there is always a possibility
of screwing something up. If it reasonably works for you, I would like
to do an upload soon for more widespread testing.

Please also test the web interface, to check that the PAM helper works
fine for you.

Thanks in advance,

Martin
