[Pkg-cups-devel] Bug#322226: cupsys: This bug still stands, and the suggested fix doesn't work properly

This bug still occurs: Mac OS X clients printing landscape ask for the
page to be rotated, and at the same time format the page landscape
(i.e. swap the page's height and width) which confuses CUPS: it
rotates the page twice, printing the landscape-formatted page in
upside-down portrait.

I am using an HP 1100 printer with the ljet4 (recommended) driver.

As suggested by the reporter of this bug, I tried building and
installing the pdftops filter from the cupsys source package, but
although this makes landscape printing work, all pages, whether
landscape or not, are offset by about 10cm top and left (i.e. are that
much further down and to the right than they should be).
