[Pkg-cups-devel] Bug#444632: Minolta PagePro 8 broken on AMD64 Sarge/Etch/Lenny

    On AMD64 debian, this printer will spew paper with garbage (usually
single lines). On i386, it works fine (at least under Sarge and Etch).
To be more specific, I last confirmed this bug in early September, and
had sent a message to debian-user, but got zero responses.

    I have tested this with Sarge, Etch, and Lenny. This bug may affect
other printers as well. There is no difference if I use gutenprint,
gimp-print, ljet, or anything else.
    My actual printer model is a Minolta PageWorks 20, but works with
the PagePro 8 driver.
