Hmm, after a few more tests, fixing the PPD causing #493104 also fixes
this issue.

Cups is right for rejecting the said PPD; it does not conform to the
specification, so #493104 is actually a bug in openprinting-ppds.
(However making cups more strict right before the release is very
unfortunate.)

It would be better if cups provided an error message instead of sending
the raw document to the printer, though.

Chris, please, please fix the PPDs before the lenny release; this issue
is making a large number of printers completely unusable. I’m attaching
a patch for the Ricoh ones, but many other PPDs are failing the syntax
checks.
