What does that mean, "turn into cups-pdf"? Can you please attach
/var/log/cups/error_log and give me the output of "lpstat -p -v" right
after initial configuration (which you can do after purging and
reinstalling cups), and after a reboot?

Please provide some more details, so that we can understand what the
problem is. Thank you!
