[Pkg-cups-devel] Problems with HP Laserjet 1200 series

Hello World,

I have a HP Lasertjet 1200 series printer with a parallel port 
connection. I have had it in my private home network using a NetGear 
PS110 print server. cups recognized it and it worked flawlessly until a 
few days ago (I think since the update to cups 1.5.0).
Since then I was no longer able to print. So I deleted it from the 
configuration and tried to re-install it, but it does also no longer 
appear in the list of available drivers.
Thinking the print server may have a problem, so I changed it (D-Link 
DP301), but no success with the new print server either.
The network connection is OK, because I am able to ping and configure 
both print servers over the net.

Is there anything I can try?
Is this a known problem? Shall I file a bug?
