I guess. I would put it more "cups emits error messages that are 
extremely difficult to diagnose". It's pretty rare that I come across an 
error message that is as difficult to deal with as this one. A 
README.Debian would be nice, as would error messages that simply added 
something like, "is the 'socket:' backend installed?".

I disagree that "wishlist" is the appropriate severity, since the error 
messages are so insanely hard to diagnose (in particular, they are 
un-Googleable), but I'm not going play BTS ping-pong.
