Till: many thanks. As you have seen on bug #683730 , I have prepared a cups 
upload targetted at Wheezy and pushed the changes to a debian-wheezy bzr 
branch there:

A small comment on that one, I implemented it differently (and I think, in a 
more robust way, by relying on dh_installdeb' .maintscript file), see:

In particular, note that the version in "…-2~" as recommended by dpkg-
maintscript-helper. It would be good to have that in future CUPS versions to 
avoid an unnecessary diff.

For that, I have convinced the ghostscript maintainers to do the last needed 
change from postinst to triggers (see #520753).
