I also noticed the restrictive permissions and then found this bug
report.<br>
Changing the permissions back to 755 does allow printing to work again,<br>
but the <a
 href="http://packages.debian.org/changelogs/pool/main/c/cups-pdf/cups-pdf_2.5.0-15/changelog#versionversion2.5.0-15">changelog</a>
considers this a fix.&nbsp; More explanation on why this is<br>
necessary would be welcome.<br>
