mysql-server uses mysql-common and mysql-server-4.1 has
mysql-common-4.1, openoffice.org2-common , postgresql uses
postgresql-common as foundation for all postgresql-x.x.  So apparently
both variants are used.  I would use -common for Arch: all and -base for
Arch: any.

I think that we should keep versioned name, but prepare virtual
packages:

cyrus-imapd, etc. which would depend on latest cyrus-imapd-x.x packages,
same as linux kernel packages and others.
