Well, if you wouldn't license it, nobody would have the right to use it.
GPL is fine.

In this case, I would prefer waiting for the version with virtual domain
support. After all, the main reason for people to change to
cyrus-imapd-2.2 is the improved virtual domain support it has. Unless,
of course, you tell me that you will need longer for the virtual domain
support and that we should include what you already did.
