Well, no objections from me. Except that I have no experience with that
mode yet. And: How does one edit the dpatch patches comfortably when
using that mode? Currently I simply use dpatch-edit-patch from the main
source directory.

As said: No objection from me. If I knew how to use that mode correctly,
I would even go over the repository as needed and move files/directories
around, preserving file history (using svndumpfilter and a few scripts).
