Well, I agree, but.... it's email. It has ALWAYS been known to risk 
losses. If someone has a problem getting a message through, they can use 
the BTS or just ask for a confirmation that someone heard them. In 
addition, a list increases the number of people who see the message, and 
thus outweighs the risk I think.
