Definitely. It's just silly that we maintain unofficial packages,
doubtless duplicating other people's efforts. It would be much better
to have 2.3 packages in the main distro where many more people can
benefit - and of course test them.

Our work has been based on branches / cyrus23 / cyrus-imapd-2.3-2.3.8,
starting from your 2.3.8-1 experimental release and updating to what you
were proposing as 2.3.8-2.
Where else should we be looking?

OK; will do. Obviously I have no intention of committing anything until
I've posted proposed patches on the list.
