No.  I was testing on agnesi which seems fairly heavily loaded.

The second process complains that when it looked up "KEY" it got nothing
rather than the expected "DATA1" which is written by the first process.
This presumably happens because the first process didn't get that far
yet.  I didn't think to keep the logs.
