[pkg-db-devel] DriveCrypt Plus Pack 5.1 Released

Dear Customer,

We are happy to announce the release of DriveCrypt Plus Pack (DCPP)
version 5.1.

This new version dramatically increases the encryption / decryption
speed, especially on large hard drives.  Also, for new encryptions you
no longer are required to encrypt the entire disk from the start. 
Instead, with the "S**kip**" option you can simply encrypt your data
while the empty space of the disk is literally skipped.  This is
particularly useful for users who have hard drives with extra space.
For example: If you have a HD of 1 TB but are only using 50 GB of it. 
When you need to put more data on the drive, the new data will
automatically be encrypted in real time.   
With this new version you can now encrypt very large hard disks with
unused space in just a few minutes.  
DCPP 5.1 now also supports the new GPT disk format.

**How to upgrade:**

* **If you have valid upgrade rights,** please log in to the customer

>From here, go to the download page.  Here you can download DCPP 5.1
and install it on top of the old version.

Next, in the customer area, go to the key generators page.  Here are
listed all of your installed licenses. 
Click on the **"Upgrade license to DCPP 5.1"** link that appears below
your old license.  This will reset that license.  
You will then be able to re-register your license with the new DCPP
5.1.

* **If you don't have valid upgrade rights,** please log in to the
customer area of the SecurStar website:

Once logged in to the customer area, please go to SHOP, and purchase
upgrade / support for your DCPP order.  
Once done, please follow the above steps.
