I don't like being given ultimatums. I'm well aware of the issue, and I will
get around to working on it as soon as time permits. That may or may not be
the end of the week.

You have proposed an NMU and I have indicated that it conflicts with a
larger body of work that I already have queued up.

What would be more constructive and expedient would be to send me a patch to
the Git repository that incorporates the intent of your NMU, then I can move
to testing and making an upload faster.

That said, once I get a chance to look at your NMU diff I can probably just
apply that to the repository and move onto testing the package and making
the upload, so no big deal either way.

I will get to this as soon as I can.
