Package: isc-dhcp-client
Version: 4.3.1-6
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

The dchp client on 64-bit installations fails with "Unable to set up
timer: out of range" and then exits when the max lease time is given

This bug was fixed in Fedora under Red Hat bug 789601 (http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/dhcp.git/commit/?id=bd413ec3f9585ff8ccb8a5a66097fab53a8f5fe4)

This was also fixed in Ubuntu. You can find a clear description and
solution in the following Ubuntu bug report:

Issue was also reported here a while ago, but I guess no bug was
filed that I could find: http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/pkg-dhcp-devel/2013-July/001822.html
