Hello,

In wheezie, the daemon fails to start too but it does not make the install fail.

The culprit is commit 3bda3b9ab952fba89e2b7c96a8fc793d8c0d39a5 [1], hence the attached patch.

Perhaps the good behaviour should be not even trying to start the daemon when no previous configuration was found...
