[pkg-dhcp-devel] Bug#841766: isc-dhcp-server: /etc/init.d/isc-dhcp-server probing for pid-file-name in DHCPv6 config file looks wrong

Package: isc-dhcp-server
Version: 4.3.5~b1-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

isc-dhcp-server's init script /etc/init.d/isc-dhcp-server probes the
dhcpd's deamon's config file for the respective PID file.

Currently it does so by checking for the "pid-file-name" statement in
both cases, DHCPv4 and DHCPv6.

This is correct for DHCPv4, as the "pid-file-name" directive is
used by ISC DHCPD for the DHCPv4 case.

In the DHCPv6 case, the PID file directive used my ISC DHCPD
is "dhcpv6-pid-file-name".

Please consider updating the init script to use the authoritative
and documented "dhcpv6-pid-file-name" statement for DHCPv6.

Thanks for maintaining ISC DHCP in Debian
Peter
