[pkg-dhcp-devel] Bug#892322: prevent dhcp lease reuse

Package: isc-dhcp-client
Version: 4.3.5-3+b2
Severity: wishlist
Tags: upstream

For various reasons, I consider the leases file that dhclient keeps
a privacy issue because these leases are not only used when there is
no reply from a DHCP server, but also sent in the initial
solicitation. This potentially discloses some information I don't
want disclosed.

I can specify `-vl /dev/null` without impacting the operation, but
this means that I'd have to hook into e.g. wicd and ifupdown to
change the default invocation.

Would it please be possible to let me specify in dhclient.conf that
I do not want any leases file log?

Thank you,
