 esound build-depends / depends on libaudiofile, anything linking with
 libesd will in turn depend on libaudiofile via shlibs (this is forced
 by policy), see:
    grep-dctrl -s Package -F Build-Depends  libaudiofile-dev \
        < /var/lib/apt/lists/*Sources | grep lib
 and:
    grep-dctrl -s Package -F Build-Depends libesd \
        < /var/lib/apt/lists/*Sources* | grep lib
 or variations thereof.

 For example, libgnome and libgnomeui build-depend on esd, and will
 likely pull libesd in many applications, and hence also libaudiofile.
