Thanks! Just cloned and got:

$ autoreconf
aclocal: couldn't open directory `m4': No such file or directory
autoreconf: aclocal failed with exit status: 1
$

Maybe you can include this also? :-)

Best procedure for Debian would be if you issue releases when they are
ready and put them as regular release tarballs at sf.net.

I will be notified automatically when a new tarball is available and
upload it into Debian.

Pretty much as with dia itself. Feel free to do releases even more
often. ;-)
