lintian -i dia-shapes*.changes

"-i" just gives verbose explanations for Warnings/Errors.

You should use lintian on the .changes file since .dsc doesn't include
the binary package(s).

Please use a Debian system when preparing packages for Debian. At least,
a Debian chroot.
