Package: dia-gnome
Version: 0.97.2-8
Severity: important
File: /usr/bin/dia-gnome-integrated
Dear Maintainer,
Dia initializes with rulers turned ON. There is no way to set "rulers=OFF" as a default.
With rulers ON the cursor flickers and sometimes dissapears. This makes it difficult
to place the cursor action at a specific point on the screen.
It is possible to manually turn rulers OFF for each new drawing, but not to make rulers
OFF a default for new drawings.
Turning rulers OFF does make the cursor visible and stops the flicker.
While making it possible to turn rulers OFF as a default would help, it would just hide
the symptom and not fix the problem. Actual problem is the flickering cursor that
happens when rulers are ON.
