 For the first: I hope, it is the correct part of the correct log:

I think the following should answer your question:
my kernel-update-sequence: init 3 -> update kernel -> init 6 (boot into NEW kernel! -> errors in dmesg -> run /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup
