That would be great.
Somehow this screams for a more general solution that is provided by
resolvconf without having each DNS server redo it on its own.

Another option worth trying could be systemctl --ignore-dependencies in
the postfix resolvconf

That option is pretty ugly and should usually be avoided as much as
possible.

I'll try to setup a test VM on Sunday. Could you share the package
including the .service file, that was exposing the problem?
