hey all--

i just updated dns-root-data to 2018013001 (from a couple days ago),
cleaned up the packaging for it, and uploaded it to unstable. I also
moved it to salsa, at https://salsa.debian.org/dns-team/dns-root-data

One thing i noticed is that unbound-anchor appears to have swapped the
order of the DNSKEY records it produces. I don't believe that the order
of the DNSKEY records has any bearing on their use in DNS, so i think
this is OK. If i'm wrong about that, please let me know!

Based on this understanding, I've accepted that line swap, and touched
up our build-time tests for equivalence to be agnostic as to the order.

I note that this package seems very similar in form to tzdata and
publicsuffix, in that this is information about the world that even
users of stable distributions might want to get without waiting for an
operating system point release (it's what we used to call "volatile").

So, I've started to prepare an upload for stretch on the stretch-master
branch in salsa as well, but i haven't proposed it to the release team
yet. Do we have a regular schedule or plan for doing that sort of thing
for dns-root-data?

I have some scripts in the publicsuffix repo that i use request updates
from the release team when new versions appear there. I'd be happy to
try to craft something similar for dns-root-data if my co-maintainers
are OK with that.

Please let me know what you think!
