Hi.

I got a report from a Debian user about a little error in the
Scientific-Computing-with-GNU-Linux HOWTO (the line numbers
are from the text version as available from the LDP, the text
can be found in section 3.1, in the paragraph about Python):

----- Forwarded message from A Costa <agcosta@gis.net> -----

X-Debian-PR-Message: report 279039
X-Debian-PR-Package: doc-linux-text
From: A Costa <agcosta@gis.net>
To: Debian Bug Tracking System <submit@bugs.debian.org>
Subject: [Pkg-doc-linux-devel] Bug#279039: doc-linux-text: extra verb in 'Scientific-Computing-with-GNU-Linux'
X-BeenThere: pkg-doc-linux-devel@lists.alioth.debian.org

Package: doc-linux-text
Version: 2004.10-1
Severity: minor

Either verb is correct: 'are' in #277, and 'has' in #276.
But not both:

	% zgrep -A 3 -n aspect Scientific-Computing-with-GNU-Linux.gz | sed 's/c.*T/... T/' | sed 's/Y.*ly/ .../'
275: ... The most exciting aspect is that it simplifies programming because
276- it has modules for almost anything (vectors, tensors, transformations,
277- derivatives, linear algebra, Fourier transforms, statistics, etc ...) are
	278- available. ...

A diff with a correction is attached.

Hope this helps...
