i'm a little bit concerned about the version number in your Subject:
line, though.  It should be 3.6.8-2 (and not 3.0.4), right?  Or is
there another versioning scheme that i should be aware of?

If you are pulling from version 107, shall i tag it in svn?  or do you
want to?  i notice that tagging hasn't been done for some of the
recent releases.

i was thinking i'd tag it with:

  svn cp svn+ssh://svn.debian.org/svn/svn/pkg-dspam/{trunk,tags/3.6.8-2} -m 'tagging release 3.6.8-2'
